These devices are wonderful for the active elderly and lone workers. They not only provide the SOS and 2 way speech functions, but in addition have the ability to pinpoint location, minimising delay in reaching someone in need of help. With in-built falls detection, this device gives peace of mind to friends and family that their loved one has a good level of protection whilst maintaining independence of movement. In addition to this, it is possible to set a ‘geo-fence’ to alert careers when the user exceeds a certain distance from home, perfect for those who tend to wander and get lost.
I recommend it to anybody. It’s brilliant, it’s saved my life 3 times. If it wasn’t for that button, I don’t think I would be here.
